Honored at RoboWorld, the Re-Challenge Success Package, and the Global Innovator Festa

The company secured the Grand Prize at the Global Innovator Festa (GIF), an entrepreneurship and innovation festival, the Excellence Award at the Re-Challenge Success Package, a business event for re-entrepreneurs, and the Encouragement Award at the International Robot Industry Exhibition (RoboWorld).

EasternGear specializes in supplying globoid worm gears, which are optimized for industries requiring miniaturization and precision. This technology features a bent structure that allows gears to engage flexibly even in confined spaces. Notably, it employs a simultaneous surface contact design, reducing vibration and noise while enhancing durability. This design principle aligns with the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) standards.

Currently, the company’s technology provides optimized solutions for small electronic devices and robotics. Looking ahead, EasternGear aims to further refine this technology to develop gears and reducers specifically designed for humanoid robot fingers, knees, and other joints.

Yoo-Hyun Kwak, CEO of EasternGear, stated, "We will continue to invest in R&D to introduce innovative gear technology to the industry."

Meanwhile, EasternGear has secured approximately 2 billion KRW in capital through a Series A investment round.
