Eastern Gear announced that it participated in CES 2025, held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 7 to 10 (local time).

Gaining recognition for its small-sized globoid worm gear technology and actuator development for AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots), Eastern Gear showcased its core technology, the globoid worm gear, along with various applications of its reducers. Notably, its high-precision simultaneous surface contact technology and efficient power transmission system allowed for a 30% reduction in size compared to conventional reducers while maintaining high output efficiency, drawing significant attention from industry professionals.

Regarding this, Eastern Gear stated, "We are the only company in Korea capable of developing and manufacturing globoid worm gears ranging from small to large sizes." The company also emphasized that "At this exhibition, we not only presented our ultra-small robot gear sets but also unveiled an ongoing AMR prototype, further solidifying our position as a leader in next-generation robot and AMR solutions." This technology is recognized for its potential to dramatically enhance the efficiency and durability of autonomous mobile robots.

Throughout the exhibition, Eastern Gear engaged in active discussions with major companies from the AMR, robotics, defense, automotive, and heavy machinery industries. Industry experts particularly highlighted how the application of globoid worm gears enhances robot and AMR performance while reducing manufacturing costs and improving space efficiency. A representative from a global robotics company commented, "Eastern Gear’s globoid worm gear offers superior precision and durability compared to conventional products and will play a crucial role in the smart factory and next-generation robotics markets."
